Common treatments

Our psychologists commonly give the following treatment methods: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT) and solution-focused therapy. Consultation room psychologist Sanne Truijen uses ACT as a form of treatment for symptoms such as depression, grief and stress. Behavioral therapy is sometimes combined with solution-focused therapy.

Solution-focused therapy
In solution-focused therapy, the focus is on solutions rather than on the problem. You get straight to the point: what would be the solution for you? You do not over-analyze your problems. Together with the psychologist you will work on your challenges.

Does another form of treatment suit you better? You can find a complete overview of our treatments below. Together with a psychologist you can see which treatment is best suited to your symptoms.

Referral and insurance

At iPractice, you are eligible for insured care if you have a referral letter from your general physician. Our care is 100% reimbursed by all health insurers except Achmea and ENO. They reimburse part of the care. For the other health insurers our care is covered by the basic insurance.
A psychologist clearly discusses the care we will provide in advance. This gives you direct insight into the costs.
Call us if you have any questions about this. We are happy to look into it together.

Frequently asked questions

Where can I park my car?

You can park your car near our practice.

How do the online and offline sessions work
To make our care as accessible and effective as possible, we use Blended Care. Blended Care means that you always work in a team with a consultation room psychologist for in-depth discussions and an online psychologist for approachable contact and support. This is how we offer high-quality psychological care, without long waiting times.
Do you do research on ADHD?

At iPractice, we do not do research on ADHD. For more information on this, please contact your own general physician.

Can my partner come with me to my session?

Yes, there is a possibility to involve your partner, family, friends or other loved ones. You will discuss this with your psychologist at the start or during of your treatment.

Can I come back to iPractice in the future?

Sure. We review again whether iPractice is appropriate for your symptoms. If not, we will support in the referral.
