Ella is a matching psychologist at iPractice. She is currently completing her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam. During her research internship at Erasmus MC on children of parents with a bipolar disorder, she gained experience with clinical interviewing and diagnostics on the basis of structured interviews.
Within iPractice Ella is responsible for the entire registration and intake process and she assists clients. She believes it is important that waiting times in mental health care are reduced, since it is so very important in this sector that people can receive the care they need on time. She also hopes that in the future there will be less stigma towards mental problems and that more attention will be paid to the prevention of mental problems from for example the government and/or education.
Ella speaks Dutch and English.
She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of Amsterdam and is currently working on her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at the Vrije Universiteit.
