Mariëlle treats clients with complaints around anxiety and depression, burnout and trauma-related problems. In addition, she has extensive experience in the relationship between physical and psychological problems and knowledge about non-congenital brain damage. She uses elements from various scientifically based treatment methods such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and EMDR. She gives treatment in Dutch.
Mariëlle obtained her Bachelor’s degree in psychology and Master’s degree in Neuropsychology at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam. She studied neuropsychological treatment and diagnostics for a number of years and then specialized as a Healthcare psychologist in the Noordwest Ziekenhuisgroep in Alkmaar. Mariëlle has worked in various hospitals.
