Femke van der Wal - GZ-psychologist

Femke is a GZ psychologist at iPractice. She believes it is important to pay attention to the person behind the diagnose. In the treatment she always looks for the connection, so you can be yourself. From that point you two look together, what your underlying need is and what helps you in this.

She has experience with various, mild and complex problems including psychotrauma, addiction, personality problems, anxiety disorders and depression. In the treatment she uses cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR and techniques from schema therapy.

Femke studied clinical psychology at the University of Amsterdam. She followed the GZ training and further education at RINO Amsterdam. She gives treatment in Dutch.
