Maartje Bastiaans is a  face-to-face psychologist. For Maartje personal attention, transparency and a safe atmosphere are important themes during the treatment with her clients. She thinks it’s important that a client feels comfortable so that the client can optimally benefit from the treatment. Her purpose during the treatment is to work together with the client as best as possible on the treatment goals.

During her job as a psychologist, she has gained a lot of treatment- and diagnostics experience, especially in the target group of adults with various psychological problems such as anxiety, depression and self-esteem problems. In her treatments, she mainly uses CGT and elements of ACT, mindfulness and positive psychology.

Maartje studied Applied psychology at the Hanze Hogeschool in Groningen. After successfully completing this study, she continued for the master’s degree Clinical Psychology at the University of Groningen, which she obtained in 2018.
